Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't the pottery be purchased online and shipped?

The artist is a hobbyist potter making ceramics at her leisure time. For now, pick up arrangement works the best for her. She may consider shipping in the future when she has the time and resources to manage online purchase logistics.

Why is minimum asking price listed? Is it an auction?

ClayCrazy is not an auction site. Mimimum asking price is listed because it is the price the artist is willing to sell her pottery piece. However, if you are interested in her cause to help the animals in need via ASPCA, you are encouraged and welcome to offer the artist more than the minimum asking price. 60% of the proceeds go to ASPCA.

What if I don't live in the Los Angeles area but would like to purchase one or more of your pottery?

The artist's preference is to stay local for now due to time and resource constraints. If you plan to visit Southern California in the future, pick up can be arranged in or near the Los Angeles area. The artist, at times, travels to visit friends outside of Los Angeles, or California, or the U.S. Hand delivering the pottery in her planned visits can also be arranged.

Can I return the pottery I bought?

Unfortunately, we do not accept return or refund. Because 60% of the money collected from sales goes to ASPCA to help the animals in need, all sales are final.

Can I look at a specific pottery piece in person before I purchase it?

There are events throughout the year that the artist displays her pottery for sale. Check the upcoming events here to attend one of them.

Alternatively, you will likely see the artist in your gatherings being her friends and supporters. Ask her to bring you the specific piece to look at when you meet up.

Otherwise, viewing is limited to the web presence at the ClaySpace Galleries.

Can I custom order my pottery?

You can contact the artist to discuss with your pottery needs with her. The artist will let you know what she can or cannot do. Not all requests can be accommodated due to time and resource constraints. The artist does not take bulk custom order at this time.

How soon can I receive my custom order?

Custom order can take up to a few months to complete primarily because of the firing schedule in the studio she uses.

Do I need to pay in advance for my custom order?

No payment is needed for your custom order until you pick up the pottery you ordered.
